Hot town, summer in the city

That's it. I'm all moved in, my parents left for home a couple hours ago... And I'm in Austin. My cute, little house has no cable and no internet access - so, basically, I'm going crazy. (However, I can access really weak public internet signals, which is how I'm updating now - although, it doesn't fulfill my Netflix addiction). I'm thinking I'll be reading. A lot. Any recommendations?

I start interning at KXAN, Austin's NBC news affiliate, on Tuesday. I'm extremely excited, albeit a little nervous. I'll be doing my best to update this blog on my experiences into a real world newsroom! But, for now, that begs the question: what shall I do for these four days in Austin? Of course, there's 6th street and Zilker park, but I'm most excited to peruse Whole Foods!

On a side note, the traffic here is, for lack of a better word, crazy! Perhaps, though, I'm a little too used to smaller cities (but, the traffic in Austin doesn't compare to Miami's... oh well). I'll survive.
